Use the inspiration! You'll need it in this industry

The video of the TED speaker named Chris Anderson emphasizes what he calls a “crowd accelerated innovation”. Despite the population of the planet growing, the Internet has made the world a smaller place. People are able to communicate and influence each other despite the distance through different vehicles in the Internet. To explain what he means by this, he uses the example of webcam videos. These videos that people make and put online become abundant and global. It becomes a self-fueling system.

He explains that a bigger crowd has innovators as well as other roles. The next point in his concept is clear open visibility. He says you have to have light and know what is best for a crowd that is capable. This should give you empower to participate. The last but not least is desire. Without the passion you cannot go to distance, especially in the entertainment industry. Check out the links below to watch the video i am referencing:

Another speaker whose speech I find influential is J.K. Rowling on Harvard’s commencement ceremony. She explains the benefits of failure, and the reality of it. She talked at Harvard’s commencement ceremony, and mentioned that she feared failure more than poverty.  She said that the failure she experienced stripped her away from the inessentials. From what she went through, she had all the determination and focus to succeed in one area that she truly believed in. She put all her focus and energy on her one big idea. From her failure and tests with adversity, she learned to be appreciative of all she had which when on to her next point.

The importance of imagination is uniquely human capacity to envision that that is not, and the power that enables us to emphasize with humans.  J.K. Rowling explained that being able to put yourself in someone else’s position enables you to learn from others. The audience during her entire speech seemed to capture every point she was making, especially after the story she told about working in an amnesty center.

This speech gives me a better view of how the person is by sharing her secrets. Everything that J.K. Rowling explained can be practiced and strongly influenced in the entertainment industry. It is important to never give up and be unafraid of failure. You also must know what you want and be able to envision by using your imagination. The video is posted right below.
